Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you, the merchant who installs the app on a Shopify store, and ItsCOD, the developer of ItsCOD COD Form & Page Builder ("the app", "we", "us"). By installing or using the app you accept these Terms. If you don't agree with them, don't install or use the app.

2. The service

The app lets you build landing pages for one product, COD order forms, quantity bundles, one tick and one click upsells and exit offers, and shows them on your storefront through a theme app extension. When a buyer goes to checkout, it creates single-use discount codes in your store for the offers you set. It also includes Analytics, A/B tests, ad pixels, URL parameters, Google Sheets and access restrictions. How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

3. Your account and eligibility

• You must run a Shopify store in good standing and follow Shopify's own Terms of Service.
• Landing pages need an Online Store 2.0 theme and the template steps in the app's setup guide.
• You are responsible for everyone you give access to your store and, through it, to the app.

4. Your pages and offers

• You are responsible for everything you publish with the app: texts, images, reviews, ratings, countdowns, stock messages, prices and claims. They must be true, legal in the markets you sell to, and yours to use. Don't publish fake reviews, false deadlines or misleading claims.
• You decide your bundles, upsells and exit offers. The app applies them with discount codes at checkout. You are responsible for honoring them and for how your taxes, refunds and returns handle them.
• We are not a payment provider. Buyers pay through your Shopify checkout and your payment methods, including Cash on Delivery.
• If you add ad pixels or connect Google Sheets, you also accept those services' terms, and you are responsible for the consent and the privacy notice your law requires.

5. Plans and billing

• The free Starter plan includes 50 orders a month from the app's pages. Paid plans add more orders and features. Current prices and limits are always shown on the app's Billing plans page in the Shopify admin.
• Paid plans are billed through Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice. We never see or store your payment details.
• You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from the Billing plans page. A lower plan applies its limits: pages, forms and sheets beyond them are set to Draft, and running A/B tests are paused. Uninstalling the app also ends your paid plan, following Shopify's billing rules.
• The order count resets every 30 days. When a limited plan reaches its limit, buyers see a message instead of going to checkout from the app's pages until the reset or an upgrade. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't reset the free plan's count.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the app for anything unlawful, or to process data you have no right to process;
• use the access restrictions to discriminate against buyers in a way your law forbids;
• try to probe, overload, disrupt or reverse-engineer the app or its infrastructure;
• resell, sublicense or provide the app to third parties outside your own store;
• get around plan limits, billing or order counting.

We may suspend or end access for stores that break these rules or put the service or other merchants at risk.

7. Your responsibilities

You remain the controller of your store's and your customers' data. Where required, you are responsible for mentioning the app in your own privacy notice, for the accuracy of the data in your store, and for the settings you choose, such as which countries or IP addresses you block.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its code, design, blocks and branding remain ours. Your store data, your pages' content and your settings remain yours. Neither side gets any rights beyond what these Terms state.

9. Service availability and changes

We work to keep the app available and reliable, but it depends on Shopify (the theme app extension, checkout, discounts and webhooks) and is provided without an uptime guarantee. If the app is unavailable, your landing pages may not show and offers may not be applied at checkout, while your store and its theme keep working. We may add, change or remove features, and may stop the service with reasonable notice.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the three months before the claim arose.

11. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. Your data is then deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access if you seriously breach these Terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top changes. Using the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
